Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Has anyone else here ever been absolutely absorbed into a game and they just couldn't stop playing however, right when you're about to reach the end (like either about to fight the final boss or just about to enter the final level) you just randomly lose all interest and don't feel like playing it anymore? This last week I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei IV almost non stop and I've been absolutely in love with the game, however today I was so eager to finally beat the game because I had just got to the final area but after fighting through the entire area and right when I stood in front of the door to the final boss, I just didn't feel like playing anymore and have no urge or drive to finish the game like I had literally an hour ago. This has never happened to me before usually when I'm in the final stretch to the end of the game I'm eager to finish my journey. I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone else recently and if so what game?

That's how I feel sometimes, but it is usually not because I think the game is bad in anyway. Usually it is just simply because I don't want the game to end because I have gotten so invested in the story, the game world and the characters that I just want it to keep going so i just decide to quit so i dont have to say goodbye lol. That's why it took me forever to beat games like Persona 4 and why it is taking me forever to beat Fire Emblem Awakening dispite being at the very end for the last week lol

3/4 way through Justcause 3 the first few hours was so much fun but then you repeat doing the exact same stuff for whole game and got so boring and repetitive. I just realized it became more of a task playing the game then fun so stopped playing in hope one day I'll go back and be fun again
