Old Childhood Drawings Thread

Share your old/terrible art from your childhood! :)

Here are some of mine

This one was from the last time I went to Disneyland with my family (which was ages ago). I remember being completely awestruck by the fireworks show.

I did watercolor paintings with my aunt (she was an art teacher). Here's one of some roses.

This one's the most recent, maybe when I was 6 or 7 (around that). I was insanely obsessed with castles (probably why I'm so into Game of Thrones these days).

  • Aww, they look so cute! :)

  • Is it normal I tore up all of my old childhood drawings out of an intense sense of shame, knowing I was never good enough?

  • I feel you. I was resisting the urge to toss these into an open fire as I held them.

I drew this one when I was five. Just scribbles really but hey, I was young.

  • You think that's something, you should see what I drew this when I was four!

I don't even know what the heck I was thinking in that little noggin of mine.

  • Shit man, if I had some of my old Dragon Ball and Spider-Man drawings from when I was 7 I'd post them here, I had a huge folder of my old drawings in the Laundry room, but they went missing so I don't have shit now. Sucks too, because I used to be really good at art, and now I'm just terrible.

  • I would post my drawings if I knew where on earth they went, I really have no clue, they could be in the dumpster of the abortion clinic for all I know.

I just recently came across this 110 page graphic novel called, Black Magic, that I wrote and drew when I was like 12. Its backstory was pretty decently constructed for a story written by a kid whose balls hadn't even dropped yet. Although, it's main story was riddled with plot holes and inconsistencies in terms of both narrative and character. Although, it's not quite as inconsistent as some of the other work I did around that age.

They said I was very talented. I do agree. I was only 4 months old.
