At least he's not acting on it and he came to the realization of his mistakes, however, it was rather rude only comparing Homosexuals to animals, technically, Humans are animals, your sexuality doesn't define your species and even though I myself also believe in God, I personally don't think that using a book written by men is the best reason to dislike something and since he seem to like using the Bible to help prove his point - he sins by judging, it's something I don't really like about some people who say they follow the Bible but only choose to follow the parts they like and ignore the parts they don't.
Although I still think he is allowed to have his own opinion, even though the marriage of two individuals isn't everyone's business, I believe that people still have the right to like or dislike whatever they want to, so long as they don't badly act on their likeness or dislike towards something. The thing is dislike most is how he says "Gays are 'worse' than animals", he states animals can tell the difference between genders? Well of course, so can Humans, but even animals have same-sex relationship, don't really understand that point. I mean, Homophobia is something that's only been shown to exist in Humans, although is it a real thing? Cause I'm not entirely sure.
He can have his opinions but I don't think it was right what he said at all.
Exactly! I don't think many people realize that animals are diverse just as humans are, sexuality isn't exclusive to Humans but Homophobia is at least in terms of studies.
“Have you seen any animal having male-to-male or female-to-female relations?”
lmao seriously? homosexuality in animals are quite common. honestly, he should just stay in the boxing ring instead of muttering utter bullshit.
His opinion. I really don't care, he's still a legend in the boxing world. It's almost as if people don't realise that others have different views to many...
But that's just my opinion on his opinion

Well, he's from the Philippines, and there are a lot of super-Catholic people there who are massively homophobic. That's not to diss all Catholics or Filipinos, but I don't think I'm speaking out of school when I say Christianity has a lot of homophobes in it.
don't care at all. because it comes from someone that is blinded by religion. also not the first time he has said this, or about the topic of homosexuality. Also people just so you all know Pac said this because he is running for something in the government in the Philippines, and they asked him a question about the whole thing and he answered it. it is his opinion but it is a stupid one.
really the thing that concerns me is the way some people have reacted to this. not the people who are against Pac (although some do need to chill), but the people who support him saying this. i know its the internet people grow big balls and say crazy shit, but still this is kinda like being drunk: you reveal your deepest thoughts, what you really think. at least thats how i see it.
If you look at the history of his sport, there's no track record to speak of when it comes to support for the openly gay! Boxing treats it like the an elephant that everyone can see but no one will mention. Sort of understandable when you consider they beat each other up for a living! But then celberties often suffer from foot in mouth syndrome. I chimmed in here because my Ex GF is identifies as bye and would'nt watch boxing because of this mentality. ProWrestleing she was fine with. Rant over.
It is an opinion. The man obviously grew up with a background believing gays aren't accepted. I, personally don't agree with it, but there are 6 billion people on this earth with vastly different views on life than just the few of us. You have two options:
Go and pay him a visit and tell him why what he said is vile.
Accept it. It's just a remark, a view on something. He's obviously very in touch with his religious background and probably doesn't think any other way is acceptable. It may come across as hate speech but he is either simply uneducated on the topic, or he truly believes that opinion. Which is fine, doesn't affect me, shouldn't affect you. People spend to much time worrying about things others say halfway across the world.
I believe that under the 1st Amendment, he is guaranteed the right to free speech.
I don't have a problem with what people do in the privacy of their own homes.
But I am firmly against Gay marriage, as feel it is unnatural, and under the 1st amendment I to have the right to free speech, even if it is unpopular.
And I'm also against homosexual couple's adopting children.
I believe that a child needs both a male figure, and a female figure in their lives.
And I'm sorry, but that cannot be accomplished by two men, or two women.
Nor do I believe that people should be forced to participate in homosexual culture, if it violates their principles.
If a couple feels it is immoral for them to bake a cake for a homosexual wedding, I don't believe that the Government, nor the courts, should be bake to force them to do so, as that is a clear violation of their 1st Amendment rights.
I don't believe that people should be forced to accept something that they feel is unnatural, or they perhaps feel is morally objectionable.
In fact, listen to what actor Patrick Stewart, ( who was in Star Trek next-generation, and who starred as Professor Xavier in the X-Men franchise), had to say on the issue. enter link description here
And in regards to homosexual couples adopting children, here's a video from CBN news of what a woman, who was raised by a lesbian couple, and what she had to say about the issue of homosexual couples adopting and raising children. enter link description here

The child of a pregnant widow wouldn't have a male figure in their lives. What you say can't be accomplished by one man or one woman either.
If a child is raised by a homosexual couple in a heteronormative world, the child might at some point have confusing feelings towards it, and that's understandable. If you ask me, this has much more to do with society's prejudice towards gays rather than the ''male figure and female figure'' argument. The problem is heteronormativity, not two men/women having children.
I believe that a child needs both a male figure, and a female figure in their lives. And I'm sorry, but that cannot be accomplished by two men, or two women.
There's actually no evidence of that, at least I've never heard of one. Does this have to do with your Christian beliefs or actual proof? If it's the latter, can you like me a source?

Famous people shouldn't be allowed to have social media. It never ends well.
I'm a tolerant person, I don't care what this Flip says.
Who?
His opinion. I really don't care, he's still a legend in the boxing world. It's almost as if people don't realise that others have different views to many...

A few too many punches to the dome.
Just as much as he has the right to have an opinion, we have the right to call his opinion stupid.

You can't control what people say. Leave the man alone.
Ehh it's his opinion. Let him have it.
This is the most attention he's gotten ever since that Merryweather boxing match lol. Jk I like the guy, but seriously I don't care.
The fact that people are calling this vile hate speech an "opinion" is disgusting in itself.
If I said "All black people are disgusting and should all die" it's an opinion, even though it's a horrible opinion, it's still an opinion.
I honestly don't deem hate speech as an opinion. Sorry.
Cry me a river.

Are you against pregnant widows raising their children due to the lack of their father? Should they put the baby up for adoption so it has both?
"Gay culture" WTF. Nobody wants you to partake in "gay culture", just acknowledge they have equal rights under the law.
Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects against business discrimination and was upheld in court. Your first amendment argument is irrelevant.
Of course not!
I never implied that in the least.
The child of a pregnant widow wouldn't have a male figure in their lives. What you say can't be accomplished by one man or one woman either.

Hey, it's his opinion. Calling him names isn't going to change his thoughts at the end of the day. Just wanted to put my 2 cents.
You always know the right thing to say, Lee.
Awww, thanks buddy
The first does not necessitate the other, and shouldn't. Anything left unchallenged is bad, but that doesn't mean anything should be left unsaid.
After that, I wouldn't even vote him, given the chance.
What you want to deem something as doesn't change what it is. I want to deem you as a French onion dip, but that would be silly.
