ToMI Problems
Hi,
I found out about this new Monkey Island game and bought it straight away.
Didn't occur to me that an MI game would have such a high graphics demands.
I've tried it on my laptop, my wife laptop and my parents desktop. None work. The graphics appear were dark, with large bits missing. The menu only has text on a black background on two of the three machines. And all three end up crashing and dying - haven't even managed to get to see all of the openning cut scene yet.
What recourse do I have? Stupidly I've bought the whole series and it's useless to me.
I've ensred both laptops have the latest ATI drivers but to no avail.
What can I do. I was so looking forward to some piratey fun -

your options are refund, upgrade or wii
I've checked my wife laptop - it a Mobility Radeon 9000 - which is a directx8.1 card - again with 64MB.
The specs over at http://www.telltalegames.com/store/talesofmonkeyisland state 64MB DirectX 8.1 should be OK.
I've got the graphic setting set to 1 (the lowest) - but to no avail.
Upgrade and wii aren't viable. Can't afford to buy a new laptop or console just to play MI
How do I go about a refund?
You can get the latest version here: http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-US/AboutGFW/Pages/DirectX10-a.aspx
Hope this helps..
