Telltale's Goading Writing Style (Sorry if this has been discussed and has its own thread)

Hello Everyone

I have thought about this before when I have been playing their games and I was wondering what other people's thoughts are .
Is it good writing that in their games you have characters goading/ trying to get a rise out of you putting you off balance in making a poor choice due to time restrictions?

Sometimes I have fallen for it and made that rash decision and annoyed that on couldn't keep my cool. Other times I have got a play style in mind (bad guy/goodie two shoes) and find it laughable that the characters keep on pushing your playable character thinking that this will work.
To me its like jump scares in horror games/ films/ tv shows. lazy if used as a crutch but allowable if "earned" still annoyed that you fell for a big BOO!

I've played TTG's Walking Dead S1, S2, Ep 1 Michonne, GoT and Wolf Among Us

Sorry If this is in the wrong section

Just kidding. I think, Telltale is Pretty good in Making the Choices differ from Time to Time. There Are some situations, where it is like you Said, But Not As often anymore.
