Your worst injury?

  • About a year and 4 months ago, I was getting a basketball physical. I'm a scrawny little dude, little background. I probably didn't belong in the basketball field. I got out of my car, and I forgot my book bag. I only realized this while closing the door, I was close to the car still. I 'reached' (turned and my arm moved forward, yeah IDK either) and my index fingernail barely made it into the car as the door slammed shut. Little circle of my nail turned bright blue, assumed a bruise. Adrenaline, is a wonderful thing. I was walking and I slipped in a nearby ice collection as the pain settled in, so I was on the floor screaming bloody murder as my nail turned fully blue from the point of contact. The little fucker was actually bleeding, and the blue was APPARENTLY because the nail was depriving oxygen to my blood, and APPARENTLY again, blood is blue before oxygen hits it. The nail would eventually go on to slowly detach itself from the nail growing behind it, and one day, about 6 months later, I was in my pool swimming and the nail yanked from my skin. Which was surprisingly not painful at all.

  • Not sure which reference i should post so i will post both

Nothing. I am invincible. Never even been in a hospital, never had a sick day at school, and for the past 4 years working full not been ill either. The only ill I've been is hungover as hell

I once fracture my wrist that's all, i don't go out much cries

  • Just cracked ribs. Once it was multiple and that wasn't fun even breathing for months. Didn't miss a day of work though(I really really should have. Probably why it took like 4 months to heal).

  • You can raise money to help this person by buying chocolate

When I was a tennager, I accidentally dove into a shallow pool and smashed my head on the bottom. I felt my whole spine compress, but luckily it never got inflamed, and I can still walk and run and do all the things that I could do previously.

  • That sounds painful af.

I hurt my back so bad I almost became a paraplegic, but honestly the worst/most painful was after the worst car accident of my life - partially fractured my left femur, completely broke the right one.

  • It did.

    That sounds painful af.

  • Do medical incidents count? If so, I had an allergic reaction to something when I was 5, and I was put in a comatose state for 4 days, and then had to stay in the hospital an extra 3. It was pretty fucked. Otherwise, I don't think much has ever happened to me outside of allergic reactions. My sister kicked me in the leg so hard I got an infection, but that's not much of an injury since it healed up fairly quickly.

  • I broke my leg when I was 9, I went head first through a window when I was 4, and I was riding down a hill on my bike and the bike flipped and I went teeth first into the concrete, chipping them.

    I can't decide.

  • Permanent back injury, not necessarily the worst in terms of pain, but I still consider it my worst injury.

  • Got knocked out on a concrete floor and broke my nose once. A glass picture shattered and hit my nose, slicing half of my nostril, they glued the flesh back together and now ive got a little white scar and a sensitive nose.

  • A pencil rubber fell into my ear... Because once again I was a very dumb kid

  • I almost cut off my ring finger with a knife. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get married with no ring finger. Luckly the doctors fixed it! Lmao
