why are the monkey island games so expensive. i wanted to replace one of my games but now its over $70! is there anywhere online where the games are at a more reasonable price?

They're expensive because they're no longer made, and are now very rare and very sought after. The remake of the original game was just released for download on XBLA and Steam, that's as close as you're going to get. It's pretty likely the second game will be remade similarly, and the third will probably simply be re-released.

It's even worse... It's a book. Billy will have a hard time pretending he likes it.

they are and always have been the same price...

same with the old games..
ask some of the older collectors.. games dont really gain to much value.. maaybe the super rare stuffs but those arent the normal versions of lucasarts games.. maybe odd sierra games would gain value.. but all in all my advents are the same cost ..

remember how much i paid for lsl2 when it came out ... 59$ NEW ... soo if you think 70$ .. not much diff..


never get games for an investment.. unless its a personal one.. not monetary
