TOMI - How can I access settings after first time?

I accessed settings and noticed resolution, audio, subtitles, etc. I changed resolution settings which helped with polygon characters (didn't solve it but is now playable). I then decided to go back and try a new setting and turn on subtitles. Escape key that worked the first time does not bring up these options only save, new game, quit and resume game. Is there another way to access settings? Is there a game manual for TOMI?
