South Korean Ripoff of Team Fortress Two!

edited July 2009 in General Chat
This is madness! Look at how identical the gameplay trailer is to all the "Meet the Team" trailers in Team Fortress Two!

Holy crap, must all the other countries spoof everything awesome that we make? Don't they realize that the public's realization of said ripoff will lower the rate of consumerism?

Sorry, I overreacted, but this is getting a little bit annoying. All this competition going on is driving me crazy. It's most likely that all of the original ideas are running low.

Heh. I just made two TF2-related threads in a row. I guess I'm a fanatic.

We make? Since when were you involved in the making of Team Fortress?

    No need to get technical...

I actually think it looks fantastic, copying in shooters will ALWAYS happen. Double jumps have been in many shooters, as have melee weapons (which a baseball bat is often used as). Maybe it is similar, but ripoff, not so much. People also said that Battlefield heroes was ripping off TF2... yeah right.

By "we", I meant our country.

And yeah, BFH was also a big ripoff of TF2.

    Battlefield Heroes? : P
    No dice.

It might be a quickly boring game, but it's not like Valve are the only ones with the right to make cartoony FPS:es.
Apart from that, not much is similar between TF2 and BFH.

WOW that was quite wrong man, and kind of racist too.

Not everything "you" make is gold and shine ;). I could bet half the programmers in TF2 where asian or foreign, so its not really all made by "you" you know.

Because Hollywood *never* blatantly steals from other countries, right? Sure, they call 'em "remakes", and they obtain the rights legally, but then they butcher everything good about the original and dumb it down for us. This game is poetic justice. We try to mimic their hits every day.

A hell of a lot of people made comparisons, class based, cartoon visuals. I myself am not claiming they are that similar, others however did.

I don't think you mean "racist." I think you mean "chauvinist."
