Things you liked, and didn't like, about the Mass Effect Trilogy.

Things I liked:

  • I liked the storyline.

  • I liked the characters.

  • I liked the weapons, my favorite being the sniper rifle.

  • And I liked the dialog options and the morality system.

Things I didn't like:

  • I didn't like that Sci-Fi music that always played when you on the ship, nor the music that always played while you were on the Citidel, in ME1.

  • When you chose the Infiltrate class in ME1, you had unlock the sniper rifle, and then upgrade that ability to have a steady aim. Stupidest thing ever!

  • I didn't like the fact that you had very limited choices in regards to hair and beard styles. For example, in ME3, after Shepard had been under house arrest for 6 months, I was hoping to be able to give shepard long hair and a full beard - as a way of rebelling against a system that had screwed him over.

  • In ME 3, I didn't like the fact that you couldn't upgrade the multi-shot sniper rifle, (which you get when you arrive on Garrus' home: Paliven), to have the same power as the Mantis sniper rifle - which is the first rifle you get in the game, and that can take out an enemy in one shot - even if that enemy has shields and armor, especially of you have armor piercing ammo.

  • I didn't like the fact that neither Miranda, nor Ashley, were bisexual. I think a hot lesbo scene with a female Shepard and either one of them would've been SMOKING HOT.

  • I am rather surprised that they didn't make Jack bisexual, given her history, her look, and her personality. And because she is such a powerful biotic, that she can't keep the team safe during the suicide mission when they go through those swarm things.

  • If you romanced Kelly chambers, whether as a man or woman, that you didn't get the trophy, like you did for romancing any of the other characters. Also that if you do romance Kelly, that you don't get a hot sex scene between her and Shepard in either ME2, or ME3.

  • I didn't like that they cut the nude scenes out of ME2, and ME3. "What the hell, Bioware?"

  • Also, in ME3, I hated that they rushed the damn thing out on disc, and then brought out all the extra content on dlc's. You have download the ending to find out what ramifications your final choice had - which seemed to be the only one that actually mattered - which in my opinion was just fucking stupid.

From what I've heard, they have a 4th game in the works, and I'm looking forward to it. Personally, since in one of my games, I romanced Ashley both in ME1, and ME3, I wanna see if perhaps Ashley has Shepard's "love child," and play as him.

How about you?

The morality system was stupid. If you wanted to get the 'correct,' pivotal dialogue options, you'd have to invest pretty much 100% into one alignment or the other. Attempting to make any sort of 'grey morality' character can screw you over.

ME3 fixed this a little bit, thank god. Or, at least I think I did. It was evident they overhauled it, but the system they had in place there was barely ever explained at all. Oh well.

  • I love so many things so I'll just go into dislikes.

    • The choices are so black & white (excluding the ME3 ending choice). I can't think of a single choice that was hard for me to make.
    • You can't really your give squad mates different armor after ME1.
    • Anderson isn't councilor in ME3 regardless of your choice.
    • The Human council doesn't exist in ME3 and there's no sign of it ever existing regardless of your choice.

And because she is such a powerful biotic, that she can't keep the team safe during the suicide mission when they go through those swarm things.

She can, if she's loyal. Same as Samara.

Also the fourth game has nothing to do with shepard really, it's set in a different galaxy. Also not everyone was in a heterosexual relationship capable of producing children so the idea that we'd play as shepards daughter or son is kinda out :P
