Am I the only one who dosen't care about being the better person when it comes to killing/sparing?

  • I mean, I suppose if they're already dead, can't let good meat go to waste...

    1. St. John Brothers- Didn't kill as Clem was watching and they were pretty much dead anyways.

    2. Tweedle Dum- Stupidly let him live. Don't know why tbh.

    3. Crooked Man- Turned into bird + tongue cut out. Fate worse than death.

    4. Britt- This is where my dark side comes out. Made him suffer since I figured I was breaking my vows anyway, why not do so in style and avenging Gared's family?

    5. Dezor zo Raza- Let Beskha kill him. Didn't need the gold and I supported Beskha on every choice.

    6. Randall- Spared him for the sake of the trade. He died at the trade going kamikaze though.

    7. Soldier at Gared's farm- One of my most hated characters in the game. Pleads with us not to kill him because he has a family after slaughtering ours? Dead. He also does nothing if you let him live so what's the point?

    8. The Stranger- Killed him so that Clementine wouldn't have to. In my save Clementine hasn't killed a single person yet so I wanted Lee to do it and Lee killing him with one arm is so satisfying. I shot him so he wouldn't reanimate though, I owed him that much.

    9. Carver- Watched Kenny kill him. As I said to Luke-'Carver deserved it'.

    10. Gryff- Oh yeah I maimed him! It was so satisfying and nothing bad comes of it so why not? Plus killing Ludd and letting Gryff live while maimed is my favourite ending as House Whitehill is almost as ruined as the Forresters.

    11. Victor- I refused him the water. He attacked Christa. Why should I give it to him? Besides, he tells you nothing if you give him some so you may as well save it for Rebecca or Pete.

    12. Ramsay- I tried. I knew it wouldn't work because plot armour but I figured I may as well have a go.

  • But...I like Ramsay :(

    Screw what Ramsay thinks!

  • It REALLY depends on who you're killing/sparing as well.

If they're vile, putrid pieces of shit, then yea fuck it. Put a bullet in their brain or make 'em suffer just like what they did to others. But then there are people who are still bad people, but they aren't necessarily worth killing.

  • Feed it to the hounds

  • Nope, you're not the only one.

  • At some points , it's just more fitting to let them live. Like the second St. John Brother ; he was begging me to kill him , why give him what he wants? And frankly , Kenny torturing Carver was a waste of time ; putting a bullet in his head would have been enough.

  • Most of me killing a character or not depends if I think it's going to bite me in the ass or not. I killed Tweedle Dum because they kept coming after me. The nameless soldier was just going to run away, so there really wasn't a need.

I watched Carver die, because I wanted Clementine to own up to her decisions, not just turn a blind eye and have somebody execute him for her.
