Purchasing tales of monkey island5? episode1?

Is there a way to purchase just the 1st episode w/o buying all 5? What if I don't like the game?

    You may want to try the demo to see if you want the game or not.

    I remember with sam&max I bought just the first episode. Good thing I did.

    Well good thing I didn't buy it. This game doesn't work on my laptop. I just get a black screen and no way to get out w/o powering down manually.

    Did the same thing happen with Sam&Max?
    You might want to write this in the Support forum. Maybe we can figure it out.

    Scroll down to the bottom. You'll see chapter one listed right next to the whole "season" with the low price of $8.95.

    EDIT: Ah I see what you mean. Maybe they're still in the process of implementing the standalone item in their store...?

    Maybe the thought behind this is that people in the store can see that they can try a demo.
