Ethan and Madison got an apartment with Shaun and live happpily ever after 
Jayden is a national hero, but is hallucinating. Poor Jayden 
Shelby was killed at the factory in a fight with Jayden, and Lauren spit on his grave.

Since we're discussing endings can anyone explain who Vincent is? I chose not to have Madison have sex with Ethan and he said she needed a "better adversary" and I never heard anything about him again
I always took it as she started to hallucinate again. Soon enough she would be back in her apartment alone
To be honest you have to really mess up to get anything but that ending, Madison can even be a get out of jail free if Ethan or jayden somehow mess up.
Lauren is the only thing that ever varies, it can be easy to not realise the option you are picking in the car with her
I managed to have Ethan rescue Shaun and live in an apartment with just the two of them, Jayden retires from the job (which I believe is the best outcome for him, given his situation), Madison writes a book for her efforts, Scott Shelby dies by drowning in a container after chasing down Madison, and Lauren survives.
Doesn't Lauren kill Scott? Or did she die too?
It has been awhile and I don't remember exactly, but something like this:
Technically all of them since I got the Platinum Trophy. But on my first playthrough I remember getting the best ending (all the good characters survived and the Killer was well... killed) been well over 5 years since I last played it.

Oh yeah, I remember that quite well actually. I remember that one of the prompts during the sequence was actually wrong as well? It was one of the SIXAXIS ones, was quite annoying and remember having to look up what I was doing wrong on several, several occasions.
