Yes, the Resident Evil 5 that was supposed to have zombies. Now, I loved Resident Evil 5, just as much as I loved every Resident Evil game I played. But there's not a day that I didn't wish that Capcom went with their beta version of RE5. The story seemed to hold up much better originally, there was no need to worry about your AI partner since it was solo (still, RE5 coop with my brother was fun), zombies, much more visually interesting enemy designs, Jill had a much larger role and Barry was supposedly in it, the RE4 merchant was in it for shopping sequences, Uroboros was a more fearful opponent (originally called u-11 and u-9), also Wesker's weakness seems more believable (the viral imbalance seemed last minute addition since there were no hint in earlier games) and his final battle felt much more satisfying and climatic in the volcano. There was so much in the scrapped version that I just wanted to be in the final version, but alas.
Here's some links for more info and artwork of what Re5 was originally meant to be.
Glad to see this so active. I've got a lot to look at. But dat thumbnail above me though. lol
Well, for mine I have to say Resident Evil … more5.

He was supposed to be a tyrannical dictator similar to Josef Stalin or Adolf Hitler. He had a string of quests for you to sway people under his banner. A lot of his character was given to Dr. Breen - the quests. Still would have been interesting to see what he was like before he was killed out of the script
Darkel: GTA III
Darkel was originally designed to be a psychotic but strategic street urchant who would have the player go on missions that involved depraved acts to lower Liberty City's economy. There are rumors that he had missions involving blowing up a school bus and crashing a plane into a building. It's speculated he was removed because of 9/11 and it was probably for the best. Still though would have been interesting to see how different the world of gaming would gave been if he remained in it
omg there is a lot of shit that was scrapped from that game that had it made it to the game it would have been the goat. crouch sprinting, the availability to take someone's gun and kill them with it,the AI reacting MUCH more realistic and other shit. well here look for yourselves:
If you watch The Last of Us early gameplay footages, you can see that there was the ability of sprinting while crouching but it was scrapped when the game was released.

also a mechanic that was later added to the DLC, using the infected against the other enemy would have been awesome.
Let's compare the demo and the final game: look at Liz face, it's much more round and she looked younger, her eyes were much bigger and expressive and lastly, her breast were bigger and had jiggle physics.
Oh yeah, I kinda wish you could buy that later on (granted, for a tiny price; like, 3 dollars?) because I played this, and was really confused what had happened to Emily and Matt as there was this long period of time where you didn't play as them, it threw me off when I finally checked back in, because I actually forgot why they went out in the first place... Supermassive, why?
In Skyrim, there was going to be an Arena faction you could join like in Oblivion, and the Civil War quest line was going to have a bunch more stuff in it. There was actually going to be Giants on the Stormcloak's side. What could have been...
The arena in Skyrim was also going to be used as a prison that the player was going to fight their way out of. The civil war did feel a bit disappointing tbh, the giants on the Stormcloaks side would have been cool, and this is coming from someone who sided with the Imperials.

Game devs:
Hm... Preorder seems useless. I mean they get the game the same day as everyone else
Yeah, let's uh.. Hm...
Oh! I got an idea! 10 minutes of extra gameplay!
Oh.. My... God. You are a GENIUS!

this is exactly the reason he was removed because his missions involved mainly terrorist acts and killing innocents which was bad because of 9/11 this is why the police cars were changed to black and whit instead ofblue and white(NYPD colours) and schoolbuses and children were removed and a mission involving the wingless plane that wouldhave you flying in between buildings

I played the heck out of mercenaries. Haven't played any of the Mercs Reunion cast but I've mained around STARS Wesker or Safari Chris. Coincidently, they both where shades. Sunglasses all day, every day.
Interesting. I think the reason giants were removed from Stormcloaks faction was due to Ulfric being all "Nords only, if not, fuck you." and it would've contradicted his goal (presuming that was the idea from the start).

I think I would've preffered that Booker over the one we got. I honestly did not like Booker in the final game. Wonder what Comstock's original purpose was. Considering how different his appearance was, I doubt it was the same.
Fun fact: this version of Booker was supposed to be a swashbuckling hero instead of the final depressed gambler. Also i got a Wizard Of Oz vibe from the "find Comstock at the top of the hill" thing.

Rockstar has that habit of removing way too much content from their final game.

Clementine's mother, Diana, has a 3D character model but never used in the game.
(just playing along lol)
This isn't real. It's just a story someone made up.

Do you mean an alive character model? Because she does appear as a zombie in Episode 5.

Also I forgot that there was the ability of taking cover in a corner just like you can in Uncharted series but scrapped.
Yep, the alive character model. I wouldn't forget her zombie model
It's small, but I wish this was in Until Dawn.

Yeah, it was only allowed if you pre-ordered the game.
Also, the entirety of Silent Hills.
:l
Point being?
She looked better.
That is a matter of opinion in the end. I think she looks better and considerably more believable.

I hate pre-order exclusives... isn't it enough just to play the game as soon as it's available?
it looked like that was gonna be the case, but im glad they changed that shit. i think what they have now is better.
i am hoping togod that they dont mess up with andromeda
i enjoyed the mercenaries returned mode

if they make a new elder scrolls which will probably happen after fallout 4 is done i hope there is a gigantic war between two factions like in movies

The mountain observatory from Bioshock Infinite
Apparently this observatory was to take you to the Von Braun, the spaceship from System Shock 2.
But the Stormcloaks allow non-nord Dragonborns to join them, so why not huge powerful giants?
Good point. I think it's just Dragonborns are an exception since it's a major part in Nordic history.
EDIT: Reread it, changed my response.
wesker was awesome to play as but everyone seemed to want to play as him
I will say, I thought the facial animation for Elizabeth was better in the older demos, especially the 2011 demo.

I would probably burn down Bioware lol
