I've only seen it when the game is starting up (between the LucasArt's gold guy and the title screen), and it's only there for less than a second for me. On the 360.

I've seen it only once somewhere on Monkey Island. I guess, it only appears when loading takes longer than a certain time.

I've seen it briefly when loading the game (360 version). Which reminds me, I like the icon they used to signify hard disk access - a 5¼" disk with the SMI logo & named 'Disk 23'.

Nope, but I'm on a RAID5 and have 4GB of ram, so that speeds things up a bit.

Where do you see this, i dont think i have seen the 'Disk 23' thing, or is this only on 360?

I don't know about the PC version as I've only played the 360 version but basically what happens is whenever data is being read from the hard disk the icon I mentioned fades in and out in the top left corner of the screen.

I think it is indicating that the game is autosaving.

I never noticed that the autosave thing was disk 23 haha, that's awesome. I noticed it was a disk but yeah...

I got the loading screen a fair bit, likely because my pc is fairly old. It was cool.
