Who's your favorite Spider-Man villain?
Mine is Green Goblin. Why?
Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin, is without a doubt Spider-Man's greatest villain. There's no denying that Norman is a genius, like Doc Ock or Jackal. Norman is violent and vicious, like Venom, and Hobgoblin, and insane (and delusional) like Mysterio. Norman is a leader capable of inspiring and gathering forces of powerful people, like Kingpin. His obsession matches Kraven's, his cunning surpasses Chameleon, and as for power, Norman has more than Sandman could ever hope to grasp.
There's also that one little detail: Norman Osborn killed Gwen Stacy, the love of Peter Parker's life. In a defining moment, the man who took up the responsibility of the power he held due to loss of a loved one lost another, and it almost broke him.
The Green Goblin has been immortalized in animation, games, and film. In the Ultimate universe, he's directly responsible for Peter Parker (and now even Miles Morales) getting the proportional strength of a spider.
And over in the regular Marvel Universe, Norman Osborn has shown himself to be the real villain, far and above anything Green Goblin could ever achieve. Osborn manipulated the media, heroes, and the government itself to allow him control over virtually every superpowered American for a time, and with his new team of Dark Avengers (and alliances with Hydra, AIM, and more), threatens to be the greatest villain in the world. While he may now be an Avengers and world-level threat, whenever it comes time to take down Norman Osborn, you can bet Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man, will be the one to throw the knockout punch.
Anyway, who's YOUR favorite Spider-Man villain?

The Green Goblin? Pffft!
You clearly haven't met The Wall.
Hobgoblin, Venom, Doctor Octopus and Sandman.
I go back and forth between Green Goblin and Venom.
Carnage is great too.
Venom! I grew up watching the 1990s Spiderman cartoon show and liked his entire story. The Spiderman 3 movie didn't do him justice though.
I loved that show! I wish it was still on Netflix.
Same. I think you can buy it on DVD.
Oh sweet. I'm definitely buying it.
I like Doc Ock, mostly because of Spider-Man 2, which is one of my favorite superhero movies. He was really well portrayed there.
My absolute favorite would either be Krave the Hunter or Carnage.
Kingpin is good. You can't put him in jail because he has too much political power, he also owns mostly all of the gangs in New York city.
I loved Venom as a kid watching TAS and i still love him!i honestly think Carnage will never be better than him.
His inner self
If we're talking about the same series I think I still have one of DVD's from when I was a kid.
Ahh... memories.
Indeed. What was your favorite season?
I don't really remember.
Ah, okay.
But still, even as a teenager or even a grown-up, it's still very fun to watch.
I agree.
Green Goblin because he's a Goblin. If he was a Purple Green Goblin he'd be my favorite super villain of all time.
... I should really take a effort to watch Spider-Man movies/read the comics.
Venom. anyone know a game where you play as Venom other than USM?
I remember when the first Hobgoblin appeared...just some schmuck who found one of Green Goblin's old hideouts. But he was cool and had a bad ass look.
I always loved it when Victor VonDoom would appear. Green Goblin of course.
Venom. For me, he is Spider-Man's opposite. He is what Spider-man could have been if the radioactive spider turned Peter more monstrous and destructive. Whenever I watched the Spider-Man cartoon as a kid, I always consider him to be the most threatening villain.
I freaking love that show.
It always does the comic book's justice.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2
What issue is that?
It's from Spidey Super Stories #8 (1975).
Thanks
Hobgoblin was also really damn good when nobody knew his real identity and multiple impostors took up the mantle just to further confuse things. Then they went and revealed his true identity and the character has never been even half as good since.
I also throw Shocker some pity points as an honourable mention.
Thats not open world
Well then I can't help ya
