Islamic State attacks Saudi Arabia

We often see IS attacks against western countries as Jihad against Christians and the West in general but we dont really care when IS attacks other countries that much. However IS has bombed Medina in Saudi Arabia just outside of a mosque which is the final resting place of The Prophet Muhammad the founder of Islam itself along with 2 other cities in Saudi Arabia. What are your guys thoughts on the Islamic State attacking the very thing that it claims to be. But please remember forum guidelines, don't insult, discriminate, attack or try to offend people as this is a sensitive issue.

I think religion in general is an ideology. And ideologies can be flawed. I think it's important for non-extremist Muslims in the west to acknowledge the flaws in Islam and work to reform it. Recognizing the flaws in your own religion is the best way to peacefully co-exist with the western world.
