Tales of Monkey Island won't start
Following has been done:
Reinstalling directX latest version
Reinstalling NVIDEA Qautro 140M drivers from Dell
Tried with different screen resolutions.
Also tried the props file found in an other tread in the forum, and disabled any unnecessary programs, and antivirus programs, to free up as much memory as possible.
specs:
Laptop Dell D830 with 4GB ram running XP-SP3
Installed TMI chapter 1, starting the game, which makes me register with email and password, then nothing happens.
Taskmanager says it is running, additional lauches of MonkeyIsland101.exe seems to make the game appear several times in taskmanager.
Rebooted again, launched the game, a short splash screen shows with the message "please wait .. logging in". Then nothing.
No error messages, or fault dialog boxes
Have also tried to make a complete reinstall and then putting in my serial number, after using the demo and then already paid button, during initial launch of the game.
Now, I have run out of ideas
