Anyone know of any animes with good story with like relationship elements, don't mind if it's not over action packed. Just love a good story, dig up the old emotions that are buried deep within me.
Haven't seen SAO yet but a lot people complain about it, especially about the second part of the series. I myself am not really interested in the aniem tho.
Been watching a new show called RE zero and it has nothing to do with resident evil. Its a head fuck of a anime every time the main dies he … moregoes back to a earlier point its a strange concept and pretty dark. The writer and director changed at episode 14 and it got 100x more sketchy its good and freaky, if you like anime scary hold on until after episode 14.
Ive also been watching sailor moon with subs its actually better then I remember it and the enemies are great. So much nostalgia from this anime there is a remake but I dont like it it uses cg and is more girly.

I'm on a two week break from work and looking for anime to watch since I haven't watched any in a while, and since there are probably some beautiful fuckin' weebs in here, I figured I'd consult y'all. First and foremost, I guess I should mention what I have seen and how I felt about them so recommendations would be easier I guess? Like, I don't want to sound rude, I just don't know anime as much as I should.
Dragon Ball - Loved it.
Dragon Ball Z - Loved it.
Dragon Ball GT - Meh.
Dragon Ball Super - Super Meh.
Sword Art Online - Hated the absolute shit out of it.
Kill La Kill - Liked it.
Attack on Titan - Liked it.
Fullmetal Alchemist - HNNNNNNNGH. (same with Brotherhood)
The Pokemon Anime Seasons 1-5 - Loved it.
The Pokemon Anime Everything After - Hated it.
Heaven's Lost Property - Liked it, but it had it's issues.
Girl's Bravo - Greatly enjoyed it, wish it was less sexual (considering the plot and characters are solid without sex appeal)
RWBY - HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOVE IT.
Cowboy Bebop - Only seen the first few episodes but I fucking love it.
Corpse Party - It was alright, I just wish it's ending wasn't so poorly written.
Sonic X (fuck you it counts) - Liked it.
Cory in the House - Loved it. (haha memes)
The Legend of Korra (also counts) - Loved it to bits but I never watched the second or third season. I actually stopped watching due to work.
Ye but that's it. Don't respond to this if you don't want, but I'm on a huge break and I need something to do. I have both Netflix and Hulu so it doesn't have to be too restricted. Sorry if I'm coming off as rude, just looking for some suggestions. As for anime people have told me are great, Death Note, Fairy Tail and Madoka Magica are some ones that my friend Crystal recommended for me, are those any good or will I be disappointed again like I was with some certain pieces of shit?
I like SOA. As you can see, but obviously everyone likes different things
Also the Pokemon isn't too bad. Still watching it, Ash lost another league though...
Oh and Death Note is awesome, try reading the Manga.
I could get annoyed that you hate SOA, but that doesnt bother me if you hate things I like. Plus all is forgiven since you're the only person who I talk to that fucking loves RWBY

RWBY is some good shit fam. As for SAO, I think the reason I hate it so much is that whenever there's something really cool the series has, it's immediately ruined. Like Asuna is REALLY fucking cool, but then they ruin her by making her a lovesick puppy. Or the concept of Yui was ruined by cliche storytelling even though she was unique. Kirito could have been a really cool character if he wasn't OP, didn't know everything about everything and owned a god damn harem. And the characters that ARE spot on and good are horribly underused. Klein was great but he had less screen time than some of the boss fights. I feel like Mother's Rosario PERFECTLY sums up how good SAO can be if it doesn't focus on petty melodrama, doesn't ruin good characters and have a well written plot.

I'm actually drawing Asuna, she's badass. I believe they skipped over the SAO part too quick, but im still enjoying it. Guessing the found it hard to replicate the Manga.
Back to RWBY, I really can't fault this show, obviously im a big fanboy so could easily get 'blinded' if theres something bad, but I just keep rewatching. Always watch at least 1 volume every now and then.
I mean look at these.
Going back to what you asked, try reading (I have these)
or start with Anime volume 1: Boredom (Taikutsu)
Plot:
The series Death Note centers around a high school student named Light Yagami who discovers a supernatural notebook 'death note' that allows him to kill anyone by writing the victim's name while picturing his or her face. The plot follows his attempts to become God by creating a New World cleansed of evil, using the book; the complex conflict between himself and all those who try to stop him.

I'm watching Hunter x Hunter right now and I'd definitely recommend it, I'm only on ep 17 since that's how far the dub has gotten so far but it's great.

I highly doubt you'd be disappointed with Death Note and Madoka Magica (the real deal starts at 3rd episode so at least give it a try). Madoka has amazing characters, story and plot twists. It's just 13 episodes + Rebellion Movie.
Have you considered Code Geass? Also a 'classic' but a veeeery smart MC has a power of controlling people which is so interesting. 2 seasons.

I stopped watching soon after L died, it just felt like I was forcing myself to watch something that I didn't like, it was a drag. I was a few episodes after L died and I checked how many were left, way too much, couldn't take it anymore. Everything leading up to that point was really good though, and the first OP is still my favorite anime OP.

The relationship between Tomoki and Ikaros in Heaven's Lost Property was pretty emotionally driven and well written, and not to mention you get to feeling for Ikaros a lot since Tomoki ignores her often. Sadly it's drowned out with sex appeal, jokes and antics and other characters. Season 2 is where it shines the best and gets a lot more emotional, but the manga portrays it properly.
Other than that, I think the romance between Gohan and Videl in DBZ was built up fairly well and it was nicely written, Goku and Chi-Chi in the original Dragon Ball as well. Fullmetal Alchemist had a kinda-sorta romance subplot, but it's not as well written as the ones mentioned above imo. Now, Heaven's Lost Property, Fullmetal Alchemist, DB and DBZ in general and really well written anime that make you feel like shit in some form or another, but the HLP movie... fuck man that took me weeks to recover from. If you haven't seen the four of those, I strongly recommend them.

I want more Qrow scythe wielding.
Code Geass, I've heard about that one. My friend said it destroyed his soul or some shit. Sounds good. As for Death Note and Madoka Magica, I'll definitely check em out.
That's actually true, the second part with Mello and Near is ...yeah, just a replaction for L. But I found Light interesting enougj, and he's one of my favourite characters (No, I do not agree with his views nor support his killings). I loved both OPs, there is some nice symbolism in the first one, you can look it up on YouTube.
There's sexual tension between fucking everybody in that show. Every girl at Beacon is either super mega ultra gay (don't you deny it, you know it's true) or full on Yandere for a dude. (Nora and Pyrrha) I'm pretty sure Qrow and Winter wanted to bang. Like shit man.
Yeah it's pretty good, unfortunately it suffers from a lot of cool characters, not enough episodes, so some people aren't very developed by the time the credits roll for the last time, although it does develop the main ones well. It's unfortunate because when it does delve into the backstories of side characters it's done pretty interestingly and I'd kind of wish it was an episodic character of the week show with an overarching story.
I liked Light in the beginning but the farther he went the more twisted his goal became, he was a good man gone bad. I also hated how he treated Misa, he was her only reason to live and he just used that to his advantage.

Seriously, there was definitely some kind of constant tension between Ruby and Weiss. And Cardin, geesh, totally had the hots for Jaune. Zwei's probably got an intimate relationship with a fire hydrant off camera, Yang is probably more gay than any character in anything ever, and Glynda? She's obsessed with her riding crop wand. She takes it out to romantic dinners and flies on magic carpets with it. There's some serious sexual tension going on between everyone, I find it hard to believe Qrow and Winter didn't have some.
Qrows story about the skirt length killed me so you know he's a player!
Yeah I think there's a chance for anyone to get with, well whoever the hell they want
Your mileage will probably vary with that one, I like it, but it's flaws are pretty clear, it uses the "power of friendship" trope whenever it can, although its characters are pretty interesting.
As for recommendations do you have a limit on the amount of episodes you'd tolerate (I notice you watched Dragon Ball and I hear that's pretty long)? If you don't I'd recommend One Piece, the story starts out slow but once it establishes its story, world and characters it gets real exciting, unfortunately it's not completed yet (heck the manga it's based off hasn't finished yet). It currently has 753 episodes with a new one out every Saturday.
As for a shorter series I'd recommend Black Lagoon, although be warned it goes to some dark places.

Ahhh, the power of friendship. That's as cliche as it gets.
As for recommendations do you have a limit on the amount of episodes you'd tolerate (I notice you watched Dragon Ball and I hear that's pretty long)?
Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z have a combined run time of 400+ episodes, so I'm pretty sure I can handle a longer anime, besides, my patience is pretty good. It's been like nearly 2 years since the last entry of EverymanHYBRID came out and I'm still waiting for the next one with great patience.
If you don't I'd recommend One Piece, the story starts out slow but once it establishes its story, world and characters it gets real exciting,
One Piece sounds awesome but I'm really not the biggest fan of the art style in all honesty.

Well that Glynda comment fucking killed me haha. Amazing!
I was going to say Yang was always going gay on characters but she's armless now
So so bad, it hurts me
Yang doesn't need two arms to party with lesbians. She does need it to hug Blake and live a happy life though. I'MSORRY
When he wanted his dad to write down Mello's name while he was basically dying, dayum, that was a whole new level.
Who's on yoir new avatar though?
Ahhh, the power of friendship. That's as cliche as it gets.
One Piece sounds awesome but I'm really not the biggest fan of the art style in all honesty.
Dark places is my cup o' tea.
Man, fuck volume 3!
