How can I get Curse to run with my computer?

I've had CoMI for years, and it doesn't work right on my computer anymore. I've gotten several upgrades since I got the game, but now the voices are all messed up.
I've tried using ScummVM, but that's not working either. It says there's no game in the directory I selected, which is a lie, because it's right there. I can see it.
Can anyone help me out with this? I want to play Curse again.

Copy all the files on both CDs into your Curse folder. It'll run then.

That was quick; only one minute between our posts. I'll try that and see if it works.
    Thanks!

Here's something that will help: http://quick.mixnmojo.com/quick-and-easy-week-day-5-curse-of-monkey-island-launcher-and-curse-of-monkey-island-setup

You will still need ScummVM to run though. And note that the game is not 100% bug-free on Scumm. Some scenes are buggy, but they should not reduce the gaming experience much.

Thanks for the help, guys. It works okay on Scumm, but I can't save/load games and I can't enable text, so I'll try Smashing's link, too.

Use F5 to save and load instead of F1. Curse of Monkey Island will inevitably end up on Steam so you could wait until then. But ScummVM should be fine

when you press F5, there is the options menu to select voice and subtitles.
