well i dont think ep 8 is going to be the last episode because as we can see there is a question mark

in minecraft achievments there is one called THE END? And another one Called THE END without the question mark

so what i mean is there might be a another episode :D

besides if this game is finished i will cry until i die

    The game will be finished...for a while at least. Its safe to assume there will be a second season, but likely not for a year or two.
