Buttons!

I just saw the big buttons boxes you took to Comic-Con... WOW!

Will there be some (buttons, not boxes (although a box full of buttons would be really cool, though :D)) for us fans who live *too* far to even think about going to the Comic-Con?

Thanks!! :)

After much thought I realized a big reason I wanted the buttons were that they were not available for sale - simply because I "cannot" have them. I wouldn't ever wear them and the one I won - which is still extremely cool - is sitting in a drawer. My fear is if they rereleased the buttons no one would actually buy them as a lot of their mystique would go away simply because they were easy to access.

I'd buy a set anyway if they realized them if they were reasonably priced. I'm rather fond of the LeChuck, Guybrush and Ask Me About Monkey Island buttons - I do like the Marquis de Singe one I already own, signed by the staff. But I won't be heartbroken if a set is never released.

How'd you come into possession of such a treasure?

There was a trivia contest in the Private Pirates forum that used Twitter. You had to submit one of the first five names that Guybrush called Elaine in her manor. I happened to nail snugglepuss from memory very quickly.

It's very cool and impressive - I like having stuff signed by the makers of the game, it's very special to me in that respect. I should probably do something better with it than leave it in a drawer but I'm not quite sure what.

Guys? Are we allowed to MAKE the buttons ourselves using oficial images?

How would you go about doing that? I'd be interested in trying it.

Well, photoshop it and go to your local "Make a badge" store.

I think there's also an internet "Make a badge" store. If not, start your own business then.^^

Well, there are stores where you can go with your pictures and they will make badges, pillows, puzzles, watches and other stuff with them. So you can get your very own, personalized badge with the game of your choice. Even with your name on it! All you need is a nice wallpaper from one of the games, some photo editing skills, one of those stores and you're set!

There is a Guybrush one on ebay but I really don't want to pay $9.99 plus shipping to the UK, especially if I can get a full set from TTG.
