An Idea

Just a thought, I'm just going through Curse of Monkey Island again, one of the best in the series in my opinion, and I'd love to see a musical number again like "A Pirate I was Meant to Be"

Telltale seems fond of musical numbers randomly appearing in game. I wouldn't be shocked if there was something like this.

Almost every episode of Sam and Max seemed to have a musical number of some sort. I'd be surprised if they get through the whole season of Monkey Island without one, especially with Jared doing such a major voice :D

But there's only one other person on the Screaming Narwhal. You can't do "A Pirate I was Meant to be" on that ship. Heck! You can't do musicals with sooooooooooo little characters around.

Though I would pay to hear the marquis sing.

I'd like to hear Guybrush sing. That would be fun.

But kind of weird, since he couldn't sing in Curse.

It was nice how that song in CoMI served both as entertainment, but copy protection as well.

And knowing Telltale, they will surely not pass up the opportunity to add some nice musical moments in the game. Hopefully some nice minigame sequences too.

The best thing about splitting up the chapters is that they could do a song for almost all of the chapters, instead of just one song, like in CoMI.

Thankfully, Telltale can just steal everything these guys did, replacing only a couple of lyrics and character models. Done and done.

Yes. If you didn't have an original version, the game would lock up or go into an endless loop if the song wasn't present. Not sure if that was intended though.
