Not exactly. You can control it mouse-only, if that's what you're asking.

Nice, I was afraid it was like monkey island 4.

    THanks

It´s not Point n Click, but you can use the mouse, yes.

It's point and click as far as object manipulation is concerned.
It's click and drag/WASD/joypad as far as moving Guybrush is concerned.

You might want to try the demo, actually...

Yeah I must admit I was slightly dissapointed in the non-point and click movement.

Click and drag is harder in the demo because the ship is always bobbing up and down, so I found the keybard easier. But for the rest of the game, click and drag has really solved all my control issues with Wallace and Gromit, this really does work very well with only minimal switch-over.

I'm having trouble getting into this can that I have. The one that contains worms. Could you give me a hand?

Which is more amusing? A post that contains 3 perfectly simple words? Or a monologue that makes fun of a post that contains 3 perfectly simple words?

    I don't know. It's hilarious either way.

Does anyone know how to run with Guybrush using the keyboard? I can do it with the mouse, you just double click on an area and then drag him and he runs. But I can't suss out the running controls for the keyboard.

Hasn't anyone here played Grim Fandango? I like the MI4 controls because I had played GF previously. I actually don't care much for point and click. It is kinda annoying sitting there clicking over and over and over just to get a character to move somewhere.

Both Grim Fandango and MI4 are customised for gamepad play. There is no free roaming cursor/pointer to choose what to interact. You walk and the protagonist head turn to an interactive object.

ToMI is different in the sense that there are two separate controls for movement and point/click.

Except for one scene/puzzle, where you will have to use WASD keys.
