Search option?

Is there a way to search through the previously started discussions? Like, if I want to start a new discussion, but want to make sure there already isn't one of the same topic. There's almost 300 pages in this 'Telltale-Talk' section, I don't want to go through everything manually.

  • If it isn't on the first three pages, chances are no one will remember there was an earlier discussion on it, anyway, so feel free to start a new one.

However, you can also go to Google (or whatever search engine) and type your search term with a site:telltale.com on the end, and it will only search this site. That's pretty good at finding discussions.

As WarpSpeed said, you can type in "site:telltale.com blah blah blah" on Google to search for a thread. If the need arises, another moderator or I can just merge multiple threads into one larger thread, so don't worry. We obviously don't expect people to search through dozens of pages to find a similar thread (let alone almost 300!).

The forums used to have a search feature, but that was not brought over in the site upgrade a few weeks back. Perhaps it might come back at some point, but I am not certain on that.

  • Thank you.
