How to fix this!
Okay, so my dog has been going through some health problems. He's old, and it looked like I would have to put him down.
I contacted my girl and told her. She told me to let her know if I needed anything. It turned out that I don't have too put him down - yet.
So I felt bad for giving out a false flag to my girl, because of possibly making her feel sad, and I apologized for it.
And I think she took it as me saying that I felt bad for reaching out to her.
Like somehow I didn't really need her! Like I don't appreciate her. And don't want her to be there when I am in trouble.
So what I wanted to ask is, how can I make her feel needed and special? How can I make her feel like I do appreciate her, and that I do want her to be there for me?

I think you're overreacting mate, she probably didn't even notice.
Why'd you apologize in the first place? Even if you had made her feel sad, so what? She should have felt sad for you because your dog was planting daisies. Should have said you're happy 'cuz it's all good and been done with it instead of telling her you're sorry for troubling her. Oh well.
