National Park Service Centennial!

Happy birthday to the National Park Service!

Recently I had been on a trip out West, visiting the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Montezuma's Castle, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Lake Mead National Recreation Area (That doesn't include National Forests; also not in order of visiting).

It really makes you appreciate what's called "America's Best Idea". My goal is to visit everything the NPS manages, all the National Parks, Monuments, etc.

    Best idea ever....must keep the greedy corporations from getting the weak willed Congress from giving up the mineral rights.
