Can it be played on multiple computers?

Hi all,
I'm thinking about buying the downloads and get the physical DVD at the end of the five chapters. Only thing is - I'm away on holiday, and I want to start playing now on this computer that is not my own. How does that work? When you buy the packagedeal - can you reinstall (if your computer screws up), or can you play on a puter away from home, like me now? Help!

You can install each episode on multiple computers.

There is a limited number of installs per serial number (around 5 I think?)

But it is usually more than enough for most people...

You can also transfer your save games from the program folder and pick up where you left off on your own computer ;)

Yes, you can! Just log into your account at the start of the game. :)

Are you sure about this? There is no mention of this on the website. Surely they would have said something about this. I think you are confusing the activation with that of other copy protection programs.

There is a limit I believe (always has been), but even so, a simple email to their support site gets you more activations... And as I said, the number is high enough that it does not usually cause problems.

It's not mentioned anywhere, so that's not normal. And Telltale isn't the kind of company that uses "subtle" tactics to fool the customers, so surely they would have clearly wrote that on the website.

Anyhow, as long as the DVDs have no online required, all is good.

No online, needed, dont need to log in to activate, nothing. All is good I guess

Yes, there's a limit, but it's more on the order of 20 or so (as far as I can remember from the last time one of Telltale's employees mentioned it).

And even if you hit that they'll raise it if you need more activations.

And yes, the disc versions have a plain vanilla CD check instead.

    np: Redcell - Inaneion (B12 - B12 Records Archive Vol. 3 (Disc 1))
