Paid DLC during Early Access...

So ARK: Survival Evolved is a game in Early Access on Steam and Game Preview on Xbox One. It's been this way since June 2015. Recently it released ARK: Scorched Earth, which is an expansion pack for the game, which at this time is unfinished. It was actually delayed from its original intended June 2016 release, being pushed back to later 2016. The game is pretty buggy and many people think it's broken.

A lot of people are angry that Wildcard released this before the main game was finished. I have the DLC on my Xbox One. It's actually quite good and fun, but you know, you can understand why people don't like DLC before launch.

What are your thoughts of DLC during Early Access?

    Yeah that's dumb. They really should have held off on the DLC until they actually finish and fix the game.

    I'm sure it's a fun DLC but they should of held off until the base game was finished.

    Too be honest almost every Early Access game is a scam.

    It does seem a lot of these Early Access games do fall into scamville. That is not to say there are not good and honest games....Kerbal Space Program was a worthy game....but by and large I wait til they are out of EA.

    Early access can go fuck itself. Especially early access survival games.
