Expected Easter Eggs

What kind of Easter Eggs would you want to find in the upcoming episodes? My personal wish would be a CMI-styled 2D screen (the same way the 3D Barbery was inserted in Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine). This thread is kind of a "Wish list" for Telltale team.

People would complain endlessly asking why the game doesn't look like that.

Plus, how do you do that on a 3d engine? And why even bother?

And I'd complain about why I had to suffer through CMI's horrible character art again.

I don't expect or need too much in terms of easter eggs. What will come will come, and I just hope it's funny.

I definitely want to see a Sam and Max reference in there, since obviously they've done it in the previous games and plus Steve Purcell is involved.

I'd like behind the scene interviews with the people who make the game. I'd figure that would be better then a credit screen any day!

[/end buttering the Telltale team up]

Seriously, how amazing would Guybrush Threepwood Pirate Commentary be?

    Edit: for the DVD?

Maybe they'll add a making of easter egg in the last episode :D

I would want a Sam and Max reference too, that'd be great.

I found a 1138 reference. Click on the
newspaper post board on the first island if there are more islands in episode 1 he says the wind storm has been going on for 1138 days.

Sam has to be somewhere in the game, like in all the previous games.

And that's pretty much all I'd really expect.
The rest, I prefer to be surprised.

I want a homestar runner reference. I mean, Come on, Wallace and Gromit got one, why not strong bad?

Something with the cheese wheel on the Narwhal.

Guybrush mimics Wallace's little trademark gesture.

Elaine naked, but you'd have a multi-step adult way of getting it so the kids didn't see it.

    Someone had to say it.

But women with beanpole legs and no cleavage don't do it for me. So how about Kate Capsize, Carla or the Voodoo Lady (TT's interpretation or the new Secret)? Not the Harbour Mistress or Miss Rivers, though *shudders and pukes*

It worries me that you're even thinking this...

Well, most of us are already thinking about it. He's just the one who finally say it out loud.

I'm not. I have healthy fantasies about real women.

Vampyre Story is in 3D as well, and they were planning to implement a SCUMM-styled screen: http://pumpkinpost.mixnmojo.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/bri-vga-mode.png

    Ever wonder why they didn't?

The reason is simple and clearly explained: time constraints, nothing personal.

You could easily throw in a 2D easter egg just by "painting" or "green-screening" the image onto a flat wall and pointing the camera straight at it, like they did with the photo booth backdrops in Strong Bad. It wouldn't be explorable really, but it'd be enough to get a quick gag across.
