    1. Lissa from Fire Emblem: Awakening
I don't think there is another character in the entire history of fictional characters that I relate to quite like Lissa. Tomboyish and caring to the core, Lissa is often making strives to act like a proper princess very similar to how I try to act more feminine. It seems that both of us fail at this. It also seems that both of us act as the "healer" archetype, put our siblings on pedestals, and naturally find people to be rallying around us for no real cause or reason. Like Lissa, I'm naturally blonde and born in the winter time - both of us are Pisces. You want to know how scarily I get close to Lissa aside from personality, birthday, and hair color? Our names. My real name is Alyssa and my nicknames include "Lyss/Liss/Lis", "Issa" and of course, "Lissa". That's how deep my bond with this fictional character goes.

    2. Blake Belladonna from RWBY
The moment I saw Blake Belladonna in her trailer about five years ago, I knew that I would love her and I was entirely right. Unlike other fans of the RWBY series, I don't just adore Blake because she's "cute" or a "badass", but because she's a strong and deeply fleshed out individual. Blake has a painful past with a handful of regrets that she doesn't like to talk about and I know that she is a fictional character, but I know this feeling entirely. Like Blake, I don't want to be viewed for my past (in my case, the family I come from, not that I did something wrong myself) and "what I am", but who I am. As Blake works hard to atone for her mistakes and the mistakes of the White Fang, I work hard to make up for the failures that are reflected by own my family. In a way, I think I strive more to be like Blake, who picks herself up and keeps moving forward, then the fact that I actually relate to her. Then again, I'm a no-nonsense bookworm who prefers to be alone, so maybe I am onto something after all!

    3. Dean Winchester from Supernatural
This one is a bit odd and even I to admit this. This is more or less based off of speculation from other people around me, but I can certainly see why people compare me to Dean. Like Dean, I often struggle to both find and express my emotions which is especially true around family. I am more than willing to put my sibling's life above my own and am happy to take responsibility for her actions even when it may not be necessary. Like Dean, I often strive to impress my father (who is technically my stepfather, but who I know as my father) and can often take this to extremes. Aside from this, there are a few minor traits that I share with Dean such as a fear of airplanes and a love for classic rock music, leather jackets, and the good ol' Wild West.
