Batman episode 1 froze

Hello everyone, I'd like to know if anyone could help me with this problem. I purchased the season pass disc of Batman for ps3, and as I was playing through the first episode, specifically the scene on the Cobblepot Park, the game completly froze and I was unable to continue. I tried restarting the system, but the same thing happening over and over again.
I contacted Telltale, and their response was that I should try playing on an HD monitor/Tv, which is what I have been doing all this time.
I'd appreciate if anyone could help me on this.
