Help with buying NTSC
I am looking to pick up a number of the Telltale games when i go to the US this month and was wondering if I would have an issue playing on a PAL system. Play ASIA lists the US copies as region free but as these are season pass discs only containing the first episode will I have issues trying to download the other episodes when i get home on my PAL console??

These are computer-rendered graphics, not video. There should be no difference between PAL, NTSC, ATSC, or anything else.
PAL/NTSC/etc are region codes. Has nothing to do with what you said, games with a PAL region code won't play on an NTSC coded console unless the game is both PAL and region free.
OP, why risk it? Why not just buy the games at home? Or ship them cheap with the correct region code for your console? Once you leave the country it's not like you'll go back just to return a game...
PAL/NTSC/etc are video codecs, not region codes. However, on re-reading, I see @Unsubliminal is buying season-pass DVDs that only contain one episode, with the rest needing to be downloaded. Unless there's a special deal on these DVDs that makes them much cheaper than just buying the season online, then I agree that he/she should wait until returning home, to make sure the downloads work.
If he/she just wants the case as a cool souvenir, and if there were some problem with the first episode contained on the disc, that first episode could also be downloaded. (It doesn't have to be played off the disc.)
It was only cuz I going on holiday and they are cheaper and thought i would pick them up as I have a few other NTSC titles. I dont tend to bother with most DLC's other than Mass Effect and Fallout etc. Just thought whilst I am out there why not pick these up too but if there was an issue downloading the other eps with the season pass then its not worth it obviously. I know DLC's can be region locked but wasn't sure if this counts as DLC or would be ok as it is available in all regions anyway
