"Tell ______ You're Batman/Bruce Wayne"

Is anyone else hoping Telltale will offer us a moment where we get to choose whether or not to disclose our identity to another character?

I'm not saying it's a scene they should play lightly. It should be portrayed with the same gravitas and importance as the "Shoot or Leave" decision between Lee & Clem in TWD S1. What I'd like to know is who exactly we'll have the opportunity to tell. Harvey? Vicki? Gordon? Even Oswald?

  • I would say Gordon or Oswald would be two particularly interesting choices. With Telltale being as liberal as they are with the overall story, I think it'd be interesting to see how they would handle Gordon knowing.

  • I'm not revealing my identity unless I absolutely have to.

  • I would love for the chance to reveal it to Oz, I love his character and really want Telltale to go into Oz and Bruce's relationship more.

  • I feel like there will definitely be some sort of choice involving Batman's identity. Maybe if we made Harvey Two - Face we can try to stop him by revealing that it our fault, because we're Batman.

Also, I doubt there will be a choice to tell Oz you're Batman, but maybe based on choices, he will find out you are, or he does no matter what, and there will be some sort of choice of, stop Oz from revealing your identity, or stop this dilemma.

  • I think it would be kind of neat if someone like Oswald were dying from their wounds and you could say who they were.

Alternatively it would be cool if as you left Oswald arrested and told him you were Bruce Wayne there would be reports of him screaming "BRUCE WAYNE IS BATMAN!" but nobody believing him.

  • It will be interesting to see Oz's reaction. As far as we know, the Penguin respects Batman, but hates (I think) Bruce.

  • If given the option, I'm not telling anyone else. I kind of love that only Alfred and Selina know, the latter in particular. As a general rule, when you have lots of enemies, I just don't think it's wise to let someone in on that kind of information unless they have to know.

  • I have a feeling if something like that were to happen it would be before a character dies. Like other people have said maybe it would happen with Oz or maybe if Viki is about to die and you have the choice to take of your mask and just reveal it or kiss her if you ship Bruce and Viki that is.

  • I would love to have the opportunity to tell Oswald. I think out of all the characters in the game, telling him would have the most interesting outcome since he's a fan of Batman but hates Bruce. I'd also be willing to hell Harvey as well, but that's it.

  • I feel like it's inevitable that Harvey will find out, given the fact that he might view Batman and Bruce differently depending on your past choices with him and Selina and whether he's Two Face or not, and putting that together will likely either solidify their friendship or destroy him forever.

Gordon finding out has promise, but I don't especially feel right now he's as significant a character as he could be, so I'm not certain how it would go.

Vicki finding out is likely a bad idea. Maybe if she's has a good relationship with Bruce but even so I know her desire to scoop stuff will inevitably want her to reveal it to the world, unless Bruce can convince her otherwise.

Harvey would be a pretty interesting pick. He probably has a determinant hate for Batman, so it would be interesting the two different routes. It'd be interesting to see if you could somehow make Two-Face forgive you, even if it's a little bit, by supporting him in everything but saving a half of his face. (And not helping at all and letting him get burned.)

And Gordon would be another interesting choice. He has two different sights on Batman, which is hero or monster. Whether or not he would attempt to arrest you and what'd Bruce do to stop it would be interesting. And to see if he is very supportive of Bruce because he is Gotham's hero, would be cool too.

  • The whole of Gotham lol

  • I dont think Vicki would be a good choice
