I have heard that Episode 1 of Batman - The Telltale Series is free on Steam, now through November 7th, 2016. (Thanks to @Poogers555 for telling me via PM).

On the Steam Store Page for Batman - The Telltale Series, scroll down below the purchase section into the info section, and you will see a separate area on the Steam Store Description for a free download of Episode 1. The whole Season Pass is also 15% off.

    Just posting again to say that the game is only free for a few more days. Once you get the first episode for free, you keep it.

    You do need to go into your folders and transfer you saves in manually if you play episode 1 and then buy the rest of the episodes though.

    Really? That's odd. Granted, Telltale doesn't do promotions like this much so I understand not having a system prepared heavily in advance, but that sounds kinda awkward.

    Yeah it is, I told my friend about it when episode 1 was free, he bought the season pass and his save was gone. But checking documents where Telltale saves are had two files, I believe they were Batman and Batman Telltale.
