For those of you who don't know, 999 (Nine Persons, Nine Hours, Nine doors) and VLR are the first 2 games in the Zero Escape series. 999 was originally release on the Nintendo DS while Virtue's Last Reward was released on the DS and Vita. The third and final game (Zero Time Dilemma) was recently released on PC, Vita and 3DS. The games are half visual novel with branching decisions and half
For those of you unfamiliar with the series here's a spoiler free vague synopsis that applies to both the first, second and third games:
Kidnapped and taken to an unfamiliar location, nine people find themselves forced to participate in a diabolical Nonary Game by an enigmatic mastermind called Zero. Why were they there? Why were they chosen to put their lives on the line? And more importantly, who can be trusted?
The only other thing you need to know is that the game gets pretty mind screwy and is definitely a story that can only be told in video game format. Now this game is a true trilogy so each new installment will spoil previous ones and also relies on you knowing the past installments.
As for those who have played they have added some new things to look forward to in 999. They've added voice acting, a flowchart to keep track of your previous decisions and an ADV screen that does something (presumably to replace the dual screen thing I think, not too sure correct me if I'm wrong). I don't know if they'll be anything else added but those were the ones I've heard about.

Very excited about this, although I hope they release 999 separately, since i already have Virtue's Last Reward, but I guess I wouldn't mind buying it again, so that I can play the ultimate version of 999.
Hmm, I've been wanting to play the series but I can't find 999 anywhere, so this'll be good!
