I know that this has been touched by the other comments, but the Joker's origin is completely ambiguous. Other than the fact that he fell into a vat of chemicals, and that batman was involved that spurred his obsession with Batman, everything before that point is completely unknown, with the Joker just making up new versions of his so-called origin story.To quote the Killing Joker, "If I had to choose an origin story, I rather make it multiple choice." Although to be honest, that is what makes the Joker one of the best Batman villains, because it adds to his unpredictable personality, the fact that we never know what he is going to do next makes us all the more curious, keeping us on the edge of our seats.
I'm not a comic book guy but in my exposure to Batman film adaptations, the Joker seems to be the most common villain. I'd rather Telltale didn't introduce character in anything more than a cameo that would take the spotlight away from The Penguin and Lady Arkham, both who are interesting villains in their own right.
Now if there is ever a Season 2 I wouldn't mind him showing up.

Joker joker had a VERY bad day. He needed money and decided to rob the chemical plant he used to work at as the red hood. His wife and unborn child died, making his day even worse. While he was robbing ace chemicals, he was attacked by batman and fell into chemicals, tiring his hair green and his skin white. It was a mixture of the chemicals and his BAD day that made him insane. Yes, I read a lot of comics.

Ok was watching that..when I saw a link for the Dark Knight Returns...Batman kills the Joker...I like Michael Emerson...but his Joker sucks....bleh.
