Best TV doctor.
I nominate Mark Sloan, (played by Dick Van Dyke) from Diagnosis Murder.
And Doctor Gregory House, (played by Hugh Laurie ), from House M.D.

Does this fella count?
No...but this one does.
More doctor
This may not be in the same vein (heh) you had in mind, but outside of medical dramas I enjoy stuff like Dr. G, i.e. the medical examiner show. There's something fascinating and oddly reassuring about the detached, procedural nature of her steps in solving the cause and manner of a victim's death-- even when the larger story ends up being very sad. But it's still a story, and I have tremendous respect for professionals like her who can interpret them.
Meh, these days I think he's too corpse-y to be a doctor.
EDIT: I thought you were talking about Mark from Grey's Anatomy. Dammit my joke is dead. Just as dead as Mark.
We had a doctor, Jack. His name was Ethan.
Doctor Who
Breaking Bad doctor guy (that's his acutal name 100% confirmed information)
