How to get DLC from Season Pass Disk to Work on a downloaded version of MC Story Mode

Hi! My friend let me borrow his season pass disk for the Episodes 3 - 5. I downloaded them but they won't appear as bought and when I try to get them it says to pay to play. Please Help!
