Wolf Among Us was rewritten mid-season?

I heard it was. Did telltale release the original plot? Why was it rewritten.

I also saw the episode 3 placeholder was different before it was released.

  • Holy shit is it 2014 again?

  • Yes it was, the original plot involved Bigby being framed.

  • I'm glad they changed it if that's the case. That is a generic move. Cop is framed and must clear his name. Very generic I loved the new ending.

Supposedly. The original episode 3 slide was Detective Brannigan outside of the Woodlands. I don't know all of the details but supposedly Bigby was going to be framed for the murders and the Mundy police were going to discover the existence of the Fables. Not gonna lie, it would've been an interesting path to take, but I'm satisfied with the story as it is now.

Yeah it was rewritten because it broke canon. Originally Bigby would have been framed by the Boy Who Cried Wolf, who's character you awkwardly meet in the first episode when Snow asks Bigby to follow her to the crime scene along with being every taxi driver in the game.

Then eventually he would have teamed up with Detective Brannigan and the Mundy would find out about the existence of Fables. This is what broke canon.

Then Bill Willingham (the creator of the Fables comics) shut it down.
