The Fave Remixes thread got me thinking, but then thought this topic might fare better as its own discussion
Because the Easy Star's dub version of Sgt. Pepper is one of my favorite things...
...their versh of Dark Side of the Moon is a trip, too.
What are some of your favorite covers?

So much better than the original.

Iced Earth - Screaming For Vengeance(Judas Priest)
That whole cover album is damn good.
Dream Theater - Tenement Funster, Flick of the Wrist, Lily of the Valley(Queen)
There may be only one Queen, but they did a great job.
If this isn't in your top 10 I have no words for you.
Wasn't meant to reply sorry mate
Many. Two song covers that I like more than the original songs are Girl U Want by Soundgarden (orginal artist was Devo) and Dancing Days by Stone Temple Pilots (orginal artist was Led Zeppelin.) I also really like Rory Galagher's take on Walking Blues (orginal artist Robert James or Sun House), Stone Temple Pilots on Frances Farmer will have her revenge on Seattle (orginal artist was Nirvana). Jimi Hendrix covering All along the Watchtower (orginal artist was Bob Dylan). I liked Nirvana's version of Man who sold the world (orginal artist was David Bowie). Two amazing covers that Soundgarden did was Rusty Cage (orginal artist was Johnny Cash) and Into the Void (orginal artist was Black Sabbath.) We can all agree that the best cover ever was Hurt by Johnny Cash (orginal artist was Nine Inch Nails.)
Glenn Frey will be greatly missed.
Might get some hate from this, but I love me some Lorde.
Garbage & Screaming Females - Because The Night by Patti Smith (written by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith)
(originally Aerosmith)
(originally Led Zeppelin)
(originally Nine Inch Nails)
(originally Neil Young)
(originally Thin Lizzy?)
(originally The Arrows)
Wait, Joan Jett didn't originally make I Love Rock and Roll? This whole time I thought it was her, never knew it was by The Arrows.
I call your removed cover of The Immigrant Song and raise you Hansi
