Why You came to PC Platform for Gaming?

    Strategy and simulation gaming. Something that consoles have always lacked.

    Also because, Console Peasants get Battlefield 1, while PC gamers get Verdun and Rise of Flight. Stuff like that.

    For example, if Battlefield players tried to play Rise of Flight, this would be the end result. Will never get over how perfect the rolling wheel when the Gotha crashes is. Actual, realistic physics with a realistic damage model, and not look pretty graphics with pretend physics. Console gaming, is just so badly missing out on hardcore games anymore.

    I remember spending my first two weeks littering the french country side with my burning airplanes. Despite having 15 years of flight simulation experience when I bought this game. lol

    On top of that. PC gaming gets most of the interest, unique games. Good example earlier this year, Stardew Valley, officially to me best game of 2016. lol

    Because it is the most powerful platform, anything looks and plays better on a PC. There's also mods, indie games and steam.

    Obviously the PC platform would be pretty much superior than any console available at present time.

    The only downside I see is that the parts to build a PC is pretty expensive, especially if you want to have the latest parts (to maximize performance).

    Well...I think it depends. When some people started I am sure FPS games on PC were way better than on consoles.....RTS games are better for PC. The fact that my 2 year old Laptop still produces graphics on par with PS4 and I am sorry but Rise of the Tomb Raider looks better and runs at a steadier framerate than console. Only thing I lack is a huge HDTV...except I do have one and my laptop connects to that as well...so I guess it is the utility. I can do work..play games..surf the net..shop and reply to threads with relative ease.

    I've played PlayStation 3 and 4 for a long time and only now JUST got a Gaming PC. My main reason was really how crappy Batman runs on console and there is no chance im playing ANF with shitty frames. Consoles all run the same but PCs have different power when it comes to running games.

    Because I've played and loved all the other consoles and I knew I'd enjoy PC too. Now I can just add it to the list of the shitload of other consoles I play from other competitors because I'm not a moronic PC master race dickhead or in a master race of any kind. I play video games and I play PC games all the same.

    I was quite anxious at first, I just remember hearing that it was the best platform. I needed a PC anyway and then I discovered Steam... Yeah I have skipped this gen of consoles. I have everything I need with my PC. The customization and the indie games alone make it worth while.

    The only downsides are that consoles have good exclusive games and the community can sometimes be annoying.
