One film that doesn't get brought up much when people talk about bad films

Lots of people know about troll 2 or The Room but one film that often gets overlooked is the 1982 disaster piece Megaforce starring Barry Bostwick. It cost 20 million to make which waevpretty costly for 1982 and went on to become a huge financial disaster. Lots of money was spent on advertising like matchbox cars, video game and a hard rock song. Even though the plot seems simple it never makes any sense. The special effects are shockingly horrible. It opened against star trek 2 which cost less and had amazing effects and visuals. Megaforce was pulled out of theaters in two weeks.

Can not be as bad as this film can it? Tries to play off of the popularity of Planet of the Apes by stealing it's title, and looks like a cheap Scifi flick being Scifi became very popular after 1977. Yet still better than a Scifi Channel movie. lol

I'm too lazy to link anything but I expected more from the Darkness. Movie from earlier this year with Kevin Bacon. Kinda gave a misleading trailer.

  • This actually got a theatrical release. I pray for humanity.
