Telltale does a great job at making you care about what is going on

I have played a lotbof rpgs ever since I was a kid playing on the commodore 64. I generally enjoy bioware games, love the interactivity with the characters and story, but the stories and characters are often stereotypical and the characters spread over their games are kinda the same. So far I have played through Game of thrones and half of season one of walking dead and in both games the writing is top notch and I find myself really caring about what is going on and really try and make the best choice possible. Maybe it's their focus on dialog and drama over shooting everything, it's just that there isn't anything else on the market this compelling.

  • You're halfway through S1 on TWD you say? Oh boy are you in for a treat. I would give anything to erase all my memory of TWD and go back and replay it for the first time. Such a marvelous game.

  • Yeah when I first played the walking dead it touched me like no other game (and is the first game I cried to :'( ) and a lot of other Telltale games got me attached to the characters also got me into series I did not care for like batman and borderlands.
