The Fate of (SPOILER!)

Lady Arkham.

Do you think she might still be alive? Although it looked like she was crushed by the rubble, the news report says her body hasn't been found.

  • Literally zero chance she is dead.

But also literally zero chance of season 2 so we'll never find out where she goes next.

  • literally zero chance of season 2

Why? From what I've heard, the ending with Joker is pretty much a Season 2 teaser (no further spoilers please, don't answer me if it isn't possible without spoiling more)

  • No body found equals not dead.

  • We got a sequel hook for Wolf Among Us too, heaven knows where that went.

  • Eh not really. If you didn't follow her it had a definite end.

  • Dead, very dead. So dead.

    Dead.

She and Deborah can plot their revenge in the after life.

    Deborah can die?

  • I've never understood why everyone thinks that was a cliffhanger. It really isn't.

  • Well you did watch her get buried but since s2 will likely be about joker I'm gonna say definitely dead

  • She fell under the Batman curse. She may have learned his identity; therefore, the universe dictated she must die.

  • Yes, sweet Deborah. I instantly regretted choosing the dialogue option I did, because I realized the others were better.

    Ugh, why Deborah. Why?

  • If I've learned anything from fiction, it's that no body means there's a chance (however minuscule) that they survived.

And with all of Alfred's worry about your identity, the thought of Vicki coming back with knowledge of who you really are depending on whether you unmasked would be an interesting far-reaching consequence for a future season.

  • everyone is going she's dead but just you wait until the real lucky survival tool transfers from twd to here

Are you kidding me right know? What was the point of showing the Joker watching Bruce/Batman at the TV then? It WILL have a Season 2.

  • She is dead.

  • I mean, if she's alive I'd love to see how Telltale explain that one. If that the initial rubble didn't kill her, then the rest of the place coming down on her did.

  • The rubble probably devoured her body.

  • Well, there is a saying that no one stays dead in comic books except for Jason Todd. Of course, they even brought him back to life eventually. So yeah, she is definitely not dead.

  • It is, but it doesn't really set much up. It challenges you to fill in the blanks.

  • Now it's pretty much just Bruce's poor, potentially criminal, parents.

  • That rubble crushed her. She is dead

  • That's the Comic Book Golden Rule.

  • The edited out the part where her arm burst from the rubble like Super Shredder.
But like him, her goose is pretty well cooked I think, barring some make believe that reconstucts her somehow

  • And bane.

    Explain Hugo Strange.

  • Vicki with a beard lol

Was I the only one that was reminded of Con Air's ending when I saw Joker at the end in a bar, laughing ? Remember that crazy guy that was all chained up ? He gets free and has tea with the doll and girl. At the end he is seen at a gambling casino, drinking, laughing and rolling dice. Lol.

Anyway, she's definitely dead as this was TT's take on a prequel story to Batman and she was their first villain. I'm certain that she died as an entire building collapsed on her and Bruce and Alfred exited the place by the only exit still open. After they left, the place was sealed. She also wasn't wearing her protective mask, so an entire slab falling on her head would kill her instantly.

  • I really hope she's alive. I think she was a great character and it would be sad to see her tossed away.

  • If there's a chance that Vicki would survive then you would have to involve the Court of Owls in season 2

  • She's probably dead, but I really hope she's alive. Lady Arkham in my opinion has been an amazing villain.

  • The thought of that is frightening. But unless she manages to find definitive proof that Bruce is Batman, she can't do anything. No one will believe her because she is still known as a terrorist.

And considering the mental breakdown she had knowing that the person she believed to be selfish and greedy turns out to be a selfless and heroic person, will probably take a toll on her already fragile sanity. No one believes a mentally unstable person.

Just my thought in case she is really alive. :)

  • She can't get you arrested. But making those accusations might get people talking and convince some. Or she could target your loved ones again.

  • I don't mean to be a pessimist, but I don't see how Vicki could've survived an avalanche of rubble, all the while with her head left defenseless and her person being confined from the only known exit. I understand that I could suspend my disbelief, and I have multiple times throughout this game and 98% of the fiction I digest. I just don't quite think there's any plausible way for her situation to not be fatal, even by fictional standards.

I am really upset by the fact that she died, and not in the argh, this is such an outrage! way, but more or less that her demise was devastating. She was an amazing antagonist, and her death did leave such a tragic impact, and I mean this positively. I wish things could've been different. The parallels between her and Bruce were so engaging, and not only made her character so well-done, but also her exit. I felt this strange, almost empty feeling, lingering behind the curtains following our intense stand-off. I guess there was potential left for her, namely if you revealed your identity. Still, I find her exit amazing, and wouldn't dare take away any of the effect by allowing her to miraculously survive. But you know, respect, even if you feel differently.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out she's alive. Personally I hope she stays dead.
