Local Saves not carrying over for TWD S3

I play The Walking Dead games on Xbox One and would like to carry my progress on from the last 2 games but Season 3 doesn't register my saves and only gives me the "Import/Create" option. Anyone else experiencing this problem or know how to fix it?
