  • Wow lol, you must have been high to post something like this. If you press the wrong button, often times, you die in TT games. Nice racist attitude for dropping the trash part.

  • Yeah I am. Eurotrash is offensive to me and was random for him to say.

  • I'm eurotrash too but I don't care. Why do you care?

  • The dialogue was very misleading too. I would choose to say something but my character would say something else entirely, resulting in a "(?) will remember that" and me cursing at my screen.

  • Kind of like Fallout 4's dialogue system? Often caused me to say things I regretted as it didn't tell me exactly what I was saying until after I selected a choice. >>;;;

  • The start of episode 2, if you pick the tell David off option Javier says something like "Kate wants to leave you!" and she gets pissed. Wtf I didn't want to say that.

  • That was ridiculous indeed, I didn't know that "telling someone off" means yelling lies.

  • lol thought the same thing. That dialogue was really stupid. I had to restart the episode. Luckily it was right at the beginning.

  • Wouldn't say it's a lie, as it's obvious there are marital troubles. But yeah, I also restarted the episode because I didn't know he'd throw Kate under the rug. I thought it meant that he'd simply tell David that he'd better get his crap together, without saying she'll leave him. So, it could definitely have used better wording, I think.

    I felt the same way, its weird especially for a major choice that he says something so random. Anyway thankfully I was past caring at that point

  • I remember many of the times I tried pressing the wrong button and it did it for me, but even more so I didn't even press shoot as my aim wasn't on an enemy and the npc randomly dies for me.

  • Still, marital troubles≠KATE WANTS TO LEAVE YOU!!!

    It's quite an exaggeration (as you may also see based on her reaction), of course when you get angry you can exaggerate things, but the choice didn't prepare us for anything like that. Most of us probably thought that Javi would just tell David to give him a break, give Kate a break, give everyone a break.

    She mentioned going away with Javi and she later mentions that Norway conversation when she's in the car towards the end of episode 2. Yes, she may not have been serious, but there would have been an element of truth there, indicating the thought of getting away would have crossed her mind. So, it's not really a lie in my view. However, I hold the same view as you regarding the text for the choice not matching what was said. (One of those rare times I agree with people's thoughts about the writing really.)

    Also, I think her reaction, though I restarted before seeing it through, could be attributed to shock at what was said. Not a 'what? I'm not thinking of leaving him' reaction, but a 'you really just said that and threw me under the rug?' kind of reaction. People can be really funny at times, and there can be a lot of subtlety in portraying people correctly, as there's sometimes a lot of reading between the lines needed. If I'm wrong though, I'm wrong.

    Anyway, I'm going to stop there, as I guess we could go round in circles all night.
