Wiiware

Sigh.... I recently -about 3 hours ago- purchased monkey island screaming narwhal yada yada yada, I'm not here to make a complaint, despite the games complaintability, I'm here to enquire...

Well, obviously this was a stuff up, a critical error by Telltale or LucasARTs OR Nintendo, or a combination of all three, I'm just thinking...
Will the next game be as such, I played this game and regretted my $15 purchase pretty soon, there were frame rate problems and low sounds quality, RIDICULOUSLY tiny subtitles and most annoying, cuts and freezes.

All I'm asking is will the next game be of such an appaling state, i do realize thAT THESE problems were probably due to nintendo's ridiculous "40mb limit"
BUt those problems were just too hard to get by... especially the freezing.

Thank you for your lime,
LAchlan.

P.s. Sorry about the Caps loCK its stuck and sometimes its on sometimes its off

First off, as far as i'm aware, 1000NP=$10 not $15

Secondly, the problems weren't as bad as people are making out. I've played plenty of games on PC that are much worse off then TMI on wiiware (halofor example, started experiancing horrible slowdown, making it literally impossible to play) Heck, even curse played worse then this at some points (cutscenes were on caffeine, it seems)

Sure there are some problems, but i can put up with them. It would be nice if they were worked out by chapter two, or the price was lowered a little (us europeans are essentially paying nearly twice the PC price for an inferior version).

Oh and i didn't notice the sound quality dip.

Monkey Island costs $14 an episode in Australia.

But uhh... just get it on PC?

Yup, yay for the AUD :(

Unfortunately, I'd say that's the fault of WiiWare. For every two steps forward Nintendo makes, 3 steps backwards follow soon after. (We're going to have an online system.....with friend codes)

I'd definitely recommend getting it on PC if your computer will handle it. No doubt it will look better, it's cheaper, and it's more reliable. If WiiWare is your only option though, I don't think you should get your hopes up :(

Believe me, I would if I could but I can't.
Unfortunately for me I bought a Wii in hope that it and my SNES would be the only systems needed...

WHY MUST NINTENDO HAVE SUCH A RIDICULOUS 40MB LIMIT?!?!?!

*sigh*... so i suppose Its probably worth checking the forums before the purchasing and all.

Dissapointing for me really, my computer playes SM1,2 and SBCG4AP.
And since the W&G demo worked on my computer I got that, but it doesnt work, I still havent played episode 1!!!
Ill be less of a damn fool next time

    hopefully
