I personally am a dog person. I grew up with dogs. My favorite is the Golden Retriever.

I think I like both somewhat equally, maybe leaning more towards cats xD
Dog. I've never owned a cat, since my parents gave theirs away before I was born (my dad claimed for a while that he was allergic, but he actually doesn't like them) so I didn't grow up with them.
When I was 6, a schnuazer stole my heart. I'm 15 and my Buddy (that's his name) is still alive and kicking. We've had him since he was about 10 weeks old and I can't imagine life without him.

I own 2 dogs, and actually yesterday was their 5 year adoption anniversary! I've always wanted cats, but my dad is too allergic. I'm getting some when I'm an adult, hopefully...
I also am a huge rodent person. My two guinea pigs are the sweetest things ever.

Cats are Satan. Scientific studies have irrefutably proven that cats, more often than not, do not care about humans and simply view them as tools and property. Example: when they nuzzle you, they're not showing love; they're marking you with their scent to show other cats that you belong to them. There are surely special cases due to how intelligent cats are, but most of them are asses.
With that in mind, I'm a dog person. Favorite breed would probably be the husky.
