Saddest Telltale Death? (Please spoiler mark your posts)
I'm not sure if this thread has been created before, but I was wondering, in your opinion, what the saddest telltale death scene is?
The saddest, imo, is....
spoilers for walking dead below
...
Carley's death. I was just starting to trust Lilly and gain romantic feelings for Carley. What the frick, Lilly? Then you take off with our RV? Disgusting and heartbreaking. Carley was such a strong woman.

For me, it would have to be Kenny's season 2 death. His season 3 death made me bawl my eyes out as well, but it's too quick to really be as heartwrenching as season 2. I still have yet to actually shoot him in any of my playthroughs (and if we're being honest, I probably never will) but I've seen it on YouTube and it has made me cry manly tears.
I mean, it's no surprise Kenny is my favorite character, and Kenny was one person Clem could always trust. Having Jane manipulate her into thinking Kenny was a monster (think what you will, but I refuse to believe Kenny was turning into a monster) and having to shoot her oldest friend was devastating. When he says "we almost made it" I just lose it.
Again, his season 3 death hit me pretty hard on my original playthrough, but it was the fact that this was it for Kenny. Subsequent playthroughs won't make me cry because the scene itself is too short to really be emotional. His season 2 death on the other hand, that's just brutal.
Almost everyone is going to pick lee and I am to but other than him I would say Marina (I think that's her name) the girl in twd ANF who always listened to music through headphones until she got headshot it filled me with anger towards the people and it's more emotional if you choose to fight back afterwards because it shows a burial scene.
Jane's S3 death had me shook for days. When I put her down, I literally had to pause the game and walk around my house for some time.
I think it was the fact that she not only killed one, but she killed two.
In the end, she was just a scared young adult who felt like there was no point in living. So tragic.
Also because it was Luke's baby. Ugh.
Amen, brother.
Definitely Lee in Walking Dead Season 1. It's self explanatory.
I would say though that the second one was Oscar in Jurassic Park. I was very upset that he gave his life for everyone else and he went out fighting like a man. Oscar was easily one of my favorite characters in the game and I loved playing as him. That knife fight was incredible.
You mean determinantly, right?
Lee is a obvious one but another death that i found sad was Scooter in Tales from the Borderlands.
Omid's death. It was pretty sad how poorly written and badly executed it was. Still brings a tear to my eye. sniffles
EDIT: No but seriously, my saddest is definitely Asher from Game of Thrones Episode 5, or Rodrik (if you're stupid kek). It was a pretty amazing choice, especially for one of Telltale's newer games. And it lead to a grim fate.
Duck. Easily Duck. I didn't cry at any other point in any other TTG game, but with Duck and Katjaa, God...
Watching this goofy fucker
Turn into this:
Was tragic, regardless of whether he was annoying or not. and then Katjaa killing herself... Jesus. That was the first time I really felt for Kenny in the series. From then on, I always at least tried to make him more comfortable if nothing else. He didn't deserve that. Nobody did.
The Death of the Quality of The Walking Dead Season 1
ROASTED ASF
Kenny in season 3. He was a character that i wanted to see make it because he had gone through so much sadness. I miss him.
The death of mattering choices.
She can trust his corpse to this day.
Gawd, this is hard. Uhhh, well:
Only Lee's death made my cry like a baby.
"I will miss you"
Second one was Kenny's death, but in my original playthrough i never killed him. So when i did, i rather felt anger, knowing that Jane hid AJ all that time....
I think it's worth to point out that scene in front of Wellington's gates was really heartbreaking too, even though nobody died.
Lilly's in TWD. She pretty much died, but if we're talking about official deaths, probably Omid's in TWD.
Yeah, the Wellington ending, especially if you leave Kenny, is honestly probably the most heartbreaking scene for me in all of Telltale's games, but I suppose it doesn't count since nobody dies.
Kenny's death in A New Frontier. (I left Wellington with him) It wasn't the best way for Kenny to go and I was disappointed with his death, but just because one is a strong survivor doesn't mean fatal accidents don't happen to them. And at least it was better than Jane's, who told Clementine that she wouldn't leave her again (Season 2 Episode 5) and then she kills herself because she was pregnant, which was very out of character.
1: Asher s death in Game of thrones was really unexpected and i really liked his character.
2:Lee
You say that as if they mattered in the first place...
They did.
Guys, the walking dead season 2, is it better on the ps4 or the Xbox 360?
PS4. I don't see what this has to do with the saddest death in a Telltale game, though.
